The RBHA does not administer a Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program commonly known as Section 8.

NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM (NSP)

 

The Riviera Beach Housing Authority (RBHA) operates a public housing low rent program and an affordable housing program.

 

The RBHA also administers a Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) where we successfully acquired and rehabilitated several homes in the community for re-occupancy.

 

The NSP program was established for the purpose of stabilizing communities that have suffered from foreclosure and abandonment.  Through the purchase and redevelopment of foreclosed and abandoned homes and residential properties, the goal of NSP is being realized in the Riviera Beach community.

 

The NSP program is a U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development program administered by the Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Sustainability.
