Useful Information

The Riviera Beach Housing Authority has partnered with the Housing Trust Group, LLC, a leading multifamily developer that has been ranked the top affordable housing developer in the State of Florida and number 22 in the country – by Affordable Housing Finance’s latest rankings of the Top 50 Affordable Housing Developers of 2016. The former Ivey Green Village public housing site is currently being redeveloped as a new affordable residential community to be known as Heron Estates.

The Riviera Beach Housing Authority's Board of Commissioners has revised the development plan for Heron Estates into two phases. The first phase will be a 101-unit, three-story building for seniors with amenities and a pool. The second phase will be a 79-unit family community with a clubhouse and outside recreational features. Both of these communities will be located  around a lake feature for all to enjoy.

Funding for these projects is a financing mix provided by Florida Housing Finance Corporation, Palm Beach County Housing Finance Authority and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
